“Attitude is everything, without that, experience means little”

Luc, a native of Vietnam came to the US in 1981 with hopes and dreams like every hard working immigrant in his days. He started in the restaurant business at Benihana New Jersey as a busboy and worked his way up to Teppanyaki Chef in New York City. He then moved to Boston and worked for Kyoto Japanese Steakhouse in the Theater District for over 20 years. After Kyoto closed it’s doors, he then moved on with Jae’s Cafe and their numerous ventures throughout the Greater Boston area that also brought him to Le Jardin in the Berkshires. He is also currently the Chef for Zendo Bistro at The Launch in Hingham Shipyard.

Nancy started in the business with her father, Chef Luc at 16 waitressing and bartending at Jae’s Cafe. Her enthusiasm and strive to succeed brought her on a learning venture to acquire experiences at Cheesecake Factory, Fuji Group Quincy, among others, and are currently our market manager and more awesome "Star of The Industry" bar manager for Big Night's Empire in Boston's Waterfront.

Our Executive Chef is a master of his craft, a real working chef who inspires from behind the line. He had been in the hospitality industry all his life. He have an extensive, unique and diverse culinary background in many classic and contemporary cuisines of American, Latin, European, Asian, pacific rim, cajun, vegetarian, vegan, global and kosher cuisines in various styles and settings of fast casual, fine dining, catering and everything in between. He helped turnaround and improved many restaurants all over the Boston area.
